The smaller of the two professional Birth Pool In A Box models the Mini pool is ideal for those wishing to fill the pool quickly. Measuring 165cm x 145cm the Mini pool is still an ideal size for the mother to labour and birth in but takes up less space than the Regular pool and is therefore also quicker to fill. With all the same benefits as the Regular pool the Mini birth pool has the inflatable floor, seat and handles positioned around the pool. Each pool takes approximately 2.5 baths to fill and weighs around 487kg when filled so along with mother in the pool this is roughly the equivalent to around 8 women in the room (including mum!). Though this pool is suitable for a maximum height of 6ft there is not sufficient room for your partner to join you (please see the Regular model which is designed for both parents to be in the water together).

All of our pool hire's include FREE delivery and collection of the pool at the end of the hire through our courier service. Free delivery is to all mainland UK addresses only - please check prior to booking before placing an order if you are not on the mainland as we may not ship to your postcode or there may be additional fees for delivery/collection.

We recommend arranging for your pool to be delivered on your 37th week of pregnancy, with a typical hire lasting between 3-5 weeks. Though we do not have any additional charges should you need your pool for longer we do ask that the pools are returned to us within 7 weeks to ensure it is available for other families to access.

The key differences are that the Regular model is larger at 193cm x 165cm, requires approximately 4 baths to fill and is suitable for two people to use together whereas the Mini pool measures 165cm x 145cm, requires approximately 2.5 baths to fill and is only suitable for one person.
